- Catoctin Aqueduct Restoration Project (C&O Canal Mile 52) - Catoctin Creek aqueduct fell into the creek in 1973, after 50 years of neglect. The restoration project, resulted in an aqueduct to ride over, rather than the army bridge which had been in place for many years.
The project was completed in 2013.
